How To Build a Billion Dollar Company

Hey, how is it going? Now, I want to make this quick video about this fantastic system for growing your company. This comes from Ray Dalio. He’s the founder of Bridgewater.

Now, when I first saw this, I was actually blown away because it’s so simple. I remember what Bruce Lee said before, “Simplicity is the key to brilliance.”

So here we go. This is the system that Ray Dalio uses to create his billion-dollar empire. I want you to take it and use it in your life.

So basically, let’s start from here. First, as a company or as a person – so this can work as a person or this can work as a company, it’s your choice – first, your company has to have goals. And this is where the three-month planning really comes into hand. So in three months, how much finance does your company want to be pulling in, both gross and net profit? Break that down into monthly, break that down into weekly, etc

Then from the goals, you can figure out what type of machine you need to build. So if you want to be making, say, $100,000 a month, what type of machine do you need to build? So if we’re talking about e-commerce online, how are we generating traffic, what is our conversion, how is our e-mail funnel going, what is the conversion rate for every single funnel, what is the CAC of our customers, what is the LTV of our customers?

And then from the outcome, so once the machine has been put into place, what is the outcome? And the outcomes will determine how your goals will change, realistically speaking.

Now, for the machine to run, we need two section of the machine. First, you need to design the machine. So what is the flow? What is the process of running the entire organizational structure of your business? Second, who are the people, which is super important?

Jim Collins, remember this, you need the right people on your bus. It’s not about having money in your business, it’s about having the skillset and the knowledge to use that money to get success.

Now, this is where you come in. You, as a person, you have two sections. You belong in this whole system. The first section is here. You’re actually part of the system, the machine itself. The second section is you are above it. So you have to actually program yourself in it. And at the exact same time, you have to be separated from it. Do you see what I mean?

As an entrepreneur, as a founder, as a CEO, as someone who is driving the bus don’t get stuck working simply in your business (as my good friend, Jason Ghana, talks about work on your business). And this is exactly what Ray Dalio talks about.

You have to do both. You’re working in it, but at the exact same time, you’re working on it. And on it is actually building out the system.

So implement this in your business right now. Goals, machines, the outcomes or regenerate the goals, the right design, the right people.

I hope this helps. Have a great day.
